Platform Configuration Specialist

Location: Quebec, Canada (Preferred)

Work Model: Initially remote, with the ability and willingness to attend client offices and project-related meetings in Quebec as required.

Availability: Required during platform implementation, training, and pilot phases.

Role Summary

We are seeking a senior French-speaking Decision/Platform Configuration Specialist with strong experience in Pega, Appian, BPM, decisioning platforms, business rules platforms, or comparable low-code/cloud platforms. This role will support the functional configuration and implementation of a decision management and business rules platform, including environments, user access, platform setup, governance, training support, and validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure the decision platform and business rules management module according to client requirements.
• Support setup of environments, tiers, access controls, roles, and configuration standards.
• Work with architecture and integration teams to validate platform readiness.
• Support configuration of decisioning, rules management, workflows, dashboards, and related platform capabilities.
• Contribute to platform governance, naming conventions, design standards, and user guidance.
• Support training activities related to platform configuration and usage.
• Participate in technical validation, pilot support, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
• Document configuration decisions and support delivery of French-language client deliverables.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of IT experience.
• Hands-on experience configuring and implementing enterprise platforms such as Pega, Appian, IBM ODM, FICO Blaze, Drools, Camunda, Decisions, or similar BPM/decision/rules platforms.
• Experience with cloud/SaaS platform implementations.
• Understanding of decisioning, business rules, case/workflow automation, security roles, environments, and release governance.
• Strong written and spoken French.

Preferred Experience

• Pega Certified Senior System Architect, Lead System Architect, Decisioning Consultant, Appian Certification, or equivalent.
• Experience in Quebec government, Canadian public sector, healthcare, insurance, claims, or reimbursement environments.
• Experience supporting platform training, governance setup, and business-user enablement.
• Familiarity with Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Entra ID, APIs, CI/CD, or integration patterns.

Ideal Candidate Profile- A senior platform specialist or architect who can bridge functional configuration and technical delivery, preferably with Pega or Appian experience, and who can communicate clearly with both business and IT stakeholders in French.
